AVAILABILITY:

‘V V’ Cast Iron solid wedge gate valves, bolted bonnet, outside screw and Yoke type, stem rising through hand wheel , flanged ends are available in Size 11/2 “(40 mm) to 10” (250mm).
These valves are available in three types:

1. All- Iron
2. Gun Metal Trimmed
3. Stainless Steel Trimmed

END CONNECTIONS:

These valves are made with flanged ends confirming to ANSIB 16.5Class – 125/150 flat face undrilled. But flange details as per any other standard specifications can also be given on request.

DESIGN FEATURES:

The following design features make these valves superior to other designs of gate valves available:-

1. Oval shaped body with ample wall thickness.
2. Bolted bonnet with CAF gasket.
3. Stem threads outside the pressure containing parts. These never come in contact with the passing fluid thereby avoiding corrosion of threads.
4. Straight through flow allowing least possible pressure drop across the valve.
5. Sufficient hand wheel diameter with easy grip for perfect closing.
6. Sufficient depth of stuffing box practically allowing no leakage when the value is under operation.
7. Wedge guided in the body throughout its travel. It contacts the body seats only at the point of closure.

TESTING AND CERTIFICATION:
All valves are tested to cold non-shock hydrostatic test pressures tabulated below:
